Slowly piecing together a human shaped robo, gonna make a base unit then from this make the good guy and bad guys, needs loadsa work yet but ill keep you posted.

Blah
A simple A.I household robot finds his owners dead and the young daughter missing, it is your story to track her down and seek revenge for their pointless deaths. From their deaths you are bestowed with unforeseen power which will allow you to carry out your story to what is thought to be a simple kidnap and murder. It soon drills deep to find a twisted reality of deceit corruption and destruction.
As you follow clues to find her you will encounter enemies of different classes trying to stop your progress. In a third person perspective bludgeon, beat slice and shoot in to enemies by combining fast paced close combat with lightning speed weapons changes to unleash endless combos.

First Gameplay Idea
This would be like a melee take down, you run up to an enemy and do a spinning dive through the torso and end up destroying the enemy in one hit.

Final Idea
You play as a factory standard helper robot made by the multi-national corporation ROBOtech , primarily used for helping around the house with DIY, things which are too strenuous for humans to achieve on there own and general chores. You are bought by a very wealthy family and taken home to be used around the house. The family includes a father John- your master- Lead scientist at ROBOtech's ADHS (Armoury division for Home Security) a mother, Judy who had a career in stocks before retiring to become a housewife and a daughter, Sally who is seven years old and attends the local private school. Throughout your time spent there, you start to learn human emotion as you have an advanced A.I. microchip which allows you to learn. In the five years you stay with them, you develop strong bonds to the family and are accepted as another family member.
One night as you are sent out for some late night shopping, a band of burglars break in to the house which trips off the silent alarm. John gets up from bed to investigate to find the burglars breaking in to his safe, he tries to wrestle one of them and manages to remove his balaclava only to have him being pushed away and shot in the stomach, the gunshot alerts Judy where she comes rushing down the stairs to see John bleeding to death on the floor and the three burglars - one unmasked - standing over him, they then shoot Judy and kidnap Sally and swiftly escape after they hear distant sirens. You - the robot - now returns home to see John on the floor bleeding to death, you race to his side hold him in your arms and bring him close to your ear to hear his final dying words "kidnapped....get....back". John then activates something around his neck, you – the robot – have been entrusted with prototype ADHS technology which will allow you to save Sally and take revenge on the murder of both John and Judy.
At what you thought was a brutal burglary gone wrong at the beginning of your story, you realise that it was only a drop in the ocean. When the penny drops, and you find out what your life really was, do you have what it takes to put everything you've learnt in to one final decision? You decide.
SPOILERS – At the end of the game the Robot realises that he wasn't 'bought' from ROBOtech, he was made by John. The robot had a unique CPU, which has the same power output of 5 megaton EMP. Equipped also with a revolutionary and prototype A.I. Microchip, allowed this one robot to be able to learn emotions and feelings and also gave him the power of incredible strength and speed. On the night of John's and Judy's death, you believe it's all just a burglary gone wrong, but in actual reality it was a ROBOtech's planned assassination attempt by the most unsuspecting victim of all them all - Sally. All Sally was, was a state of the art prosthetics prototype, masked as a little girl used to increase your emotional input level and form bounds faster. She is also used to motivate you in seeking revenge after the deaths of Judy and John. When you finally reach the top of ROBOtech industries, and are standing in the office of its creator, after you learn that your entire 5 years of being with the family was all just a test to see if you had the emotional capabilities of seeking revenge, you have a choice. A choice to either self destruct destroying yourself and all of ROBOtech's machinery and data, or to walk away and not let them have the satisfaction.

In depth idea
Ok so I went it no more depth for the story based on your feedback, i think it sounds pretty good but tell me what you think:

In the five years you stay with them, you develop strong bonds to the family and are accepted as another family member.

This is where the game will begin.
The way i see this game is similar game play to games like; God of War, Devil May Cry, Heavenly Sword and most comparative to the Kingdom Hearts games, the only difference is instead of swords your using your own fists, and weapons you find a long the way, so it will be a third person, beat-em-up game with elements of TPS involved. Your idea of having fast paced action sounds like it would fit perfectly in to the idea, going from quiet investigative scenes to suddenly being attacked by groups of enemies. Like Kingdom hearts, this game will also have a leveling up system, after achieving certain goals, killing or incapacitating enemies and completing battle achievements, you will gain exp until you have enough to level up, which will allow you pick skills which relate to your play style as well as increase your stats. I think still keep it in the same style of Fur Fighters, as thats a really original easy to work with style which we can do a lot with as we are not restricted by realistic boundaries.
In terms of environments, I think it should be really vibrant and varied. One level your in some grungy, disgusting dangerous part of the city, then the next level you sneak in to ROBOtech where it will be a futuristic, clean, white level, so each stage is a contrast to the last.
But this is by no means a finished idea, if you don't like the story or you like parts of it and you wanna change it, or if you think it's too serious or whatever, just tell me and we can work on it.

Ideas
Here are some Idea's i had
Robot Idea's:
- Beat em up Robot fighting game – Can pick between four characters, a bruiser type class massively strong but slow, a small agile one, weak but fast, a all rounder who has both size and agility and lastly the small elemental type which can fire projectiles. Will be four available maps each one based around each of the four characters. For the bruiser the map will be of a back alley, for the small agile type, a dojo, for the all rounder, a factory level and for the elemental projectile type, a mountain top.
- RPG Robot game – You play as an escaped Robot on the run from jail, after being falsely accused for a murder he did not commit. You must hunt down the people who framed you and seek revenge. Throughout the game by completing objectives and killing or incapacitating enemies you will earn experience points, which can be put towards various skill and stat points.
- Robot FPS – A twist on the traditional story, Humans are invading the robotic home world and you are drafted to defend the planet. Once thought to be a regular trooper you stumble upon an ancient burial stone which gives you strange powers. These powers will help sway the tides of war and will bring the robotic home world to victory.
- Robotic TPS – When everything is taken from you in a brutal mugging which causes the death of your wife and son, you must find the man who did it and kill him. You know it will be a difficult task as the man belongs to the toughest and most ruthless gang in town, luckily for you you are ex SAS and have spent years honing your skills for just this purpose. Using weapons and CQC (Close Quarters Combat) you will find the man, and you will kill him.
- Robot Racing Game – Can pick between four different types of hoover cars and hoover bikes and four different characters. Each bike and care has different strengths and weaknesses. The hoover bikes are faster and weaker and harder to control, the cars are stronger and easier to control but aren't as fast as the bikes. This gives the character freedom and choice to which vehicle is best for the course.
- Robot Platformer – Your village is under threat of being destroyed to pave way for another of Robotech's factories, you arrange a meeting with the head of Robotech to discuss terms. After hearing how much support you have, the head of Robotech throws you in prison. You have one week to escape from prison and make you way up to reach the head of Robotech and stop him from sending order to destroy the village.
